I thought the countryside in Andalusia and around Segovia to be stunning and with the more Mediterranean climate/terrain, it would seem to be similar to Italy, at least for me. From sculptures like David, carved by Michelangelo to the fresco painting of The Last Supper, by Leonardo da Vinci in Milan, you can gaze upon works that are centuries old and celebrated worldwide as artistic masterpieces. It is also quite common to swim in this Lake and if you visit, you absolutely must visit the charming town of Sirmione. Italy is my favourite place – my son and his partner have just booked to go to Sorrento and Naples and I am so jealous!
