Christmas trees are even more prevalent than fireplaces across the selection of LEGO Advent Calendars and this rendition looks absolutely fantastic. I love the white colour scheme which is consistent with Christmas trees which appear during the Yule Ball and the shape is marvellous, employing multiple wedge plates to create authentic texture. The same technique appeared on another Christmas tree in 75964 Harry Potter Advent Calendar. And that’s it for Day 20! Really love how large the table is and how it’s able to accommodate all 5 minifigures around it. The build is quite effective, with a wooden door that swivels open, leading Harry and Griphook in. The functionality works pretty well and while the build is quite simple, it does the job pretty well. Day 9 of the Harry Potter Advent Calendar is a wall section that represents the Diagon Alley entrance!

The 2020 Harry Potter Advent Calendar continues to impress, and Day 3 gives us a micro-Durmstrang Ship!The celebrity Christmas trees we're stealing inspiration from this year – from Stacey Solomon, Mrs Hinch and more Day 12 is a peculiar, but interesting build – a window! At first, when putting this together, I wasn’t quite sure that it was thanks to its odd shape. I’d say that this is the first proper Yule Ball build, and I hope we start getting a few more of these in the coming days, as the bright white tree really stands out in the best way against all the other models. I live in CA, USA. I am doing this advent calendar. I prefer the Harry Potter books over the movies. I appreciate this blog because it helps me understand how to build Legos or tells me who and what they are. My favorite one so far is the mini Hogwarts or mini mini mini Hogwarts, because the scale turn to the regular Hogwarts is tiny…Also, it’s really cute and clever! I Can’t-Wait to see each day’s lego. And I would like to see it look more like the Yule ball. I read all the harry potter books. And they are so phenomenal! I was so excited when I open my first flap and Made Harry and his Candelabra. Sorry about the confusion! No idea why Day 17 didn’t update properly yesterday, but I’ve fixed it up now!The presence in the advent calendar is hopefully a teaser of what’s to come in 2021 – now that we have more of the Beauxbatons Academy of Magic students and teachers, we absolutely need a new Igor Karkaroff minifigure! p I haven’t been able to respond to every single comment, but I’ve read every single one, and it’s been so much fun counting down the days to Christmas! That’s it for Day 7! I’m looking forward to what new things we’ll discover from Diagon Alley in Day 8 and beyond! Day 5 of the 2021 Harry Potter Advent Calendar gives us more delightful references from the Philosopher’s Stone, with Hagrid’s Birthday cake, given to Harry for his 11th birthday! Day 13 of the 2020 Harry Potter Advent Calendars gives us another proper Yule Ball build, a stunning white Christmas tree – the likes that adorned the Hogwarts Great Hall in the Goblet of Fire movie. The Durmstrang ship is one of the few set that LEGO partially missing, in the sense that the only version of it is from 2005. So, if it is here, I really hope that in 2021 a new ver Friends - 24 Doors Memorabilia Advent Calendar : 'Oh.My.God!' This Friends calendar is only a tenner!The highlights for me have been the microbuilds – Durmstrang Ship, the Beauxbatons Carriage and Hogwarts Castle – I wish we got a lot more of these microbuilds – hopefully next year’s calendar will have a lot more of these! Because once is never enough - we've designed this Advent Calendar to be reused. Only essential plastic has been used to retain product function. I LOVE this illustration of a snow-covered Hogwarts castle. The art style is on point, and reminds me so much of the original book covers, and really sets the scene for the 2021 Harry Potter Advent Calendar.
